I am idea hunting on what to check:
Customer can print from inside her 123 spreadsheet, but finds when
they try to either P (print) or R (read) from the ALl-IN-1 123 menu,
the session hangs (unable even to ^T) and the process must be stopped.
No other print problems with documents on any other menu.
Customer running Lotus 1-2-3/A1 V1.0, ALL-IN-1 V2.3, (integrated with
WordPerfect) printing to queued HPlaserJet.
Ideas?

Welcome back! haven't heard from you in ages.
STARS doesn't give me any clues but then we are talking ALL-IN-1 v2.3
here - obviously you're going to want them to upgrade to something from
this decades soon. I'm sure neither Lotus nor Wordperfect still provide
support for that.
Apart from that what does trace show?

Guess what WordPerfect do support ALL-IN-1 2.3 and VMS 4.6 version of
WordPerfect.
My guess would be a quota type of a problem has anything changed in the
users SYSUAF ?

I have seen this problem also and it appears to be caused by Lotus behaving badly when process quotas are not set high enough. Recomendations for these can be found in Stars article; Lotus 1-2-3/VMS Minimum Recommended Process Quotas or Lotus 1-2-3/VMS V1.5 Release Notes. I don't know if their are specific recommendations for these with the ALL-IN-1 version. Aston | |||||
