Can someone help me with this one?
    
    i.e. Does K605 have more corrections in it than the version of WPS-PLUS
    with ALL-IN-1 v3.1?

Hi,

	Can someone help me with a TDE problem.

	The customer upgraded to WPS-PLUS v4.0 within ALL-IN-1 2.4. A 
document, containing several TDE pictures, worked in v3.1, but now returns 
the error

Error occurred during operation : NULL_POINTER

on editing at a certain point in the document, but the document can be 
read without any errors. I have looked through the various notes on this, 
and tried DT SV (and then RV), extend the right ruler etc, but nothing 
seems to help.

	A copy of the document is on WAYOUT::JOE.WPL. I have tested 
the document on two systems, one with wps v3.1 (and the document works 
correctly), and reproduced the problem on ALL-IN-1 v3.0.

	Can someone look at the document for me and shed any light on the 
reason for the error?

    Check with ALL-IN-1 engineering on patches to the V4.0/V2.4 kit.  I
    believe this one is fixed in a patch.

    I presume that "ALL-IN-1 3.1" is a typo and you actually mean v3.0
    since there is no such release of ALL-IN-1.
    
    if the question is whether K605 postdates ALL-IN-1 v3.0 in terms of the
    WPS-PLUS baselevel it has in it then the answer is I believe yes. 
    In the same way that TCP has a later baselevel of the FCS in it than is 
    in v3.0.
    
    Note also that some of the fixes to the WPS-PLUS v4 option are still
    only available as CSPs and supersede what is in K605.

    	Sorry for the long delay in replying to this note.
    
    	We do not currently have a system with K605 on it, so if someone
    could save me a bit of time and test document wayout::joe.wpl with this
    patch installed to see if it produces no error, it would be much
    appreciated.
