| When there are too many people in the firearms file, which is usually
the case, you will get that message. Just keep trying until you
get into the file. Sometimes it takes quite a few tries.

I get that message alot, it seems to come back instantly, as in to fast
for it to have really tried to connect. When this happens, I just try
again, right away, and I get in. I believe if there are to many people
connected you get a msg about network objects or something.

566.4 | Check with the network mgr. | MAIL::HENSON | | Thu Nov 30 1989 20:11 | 10 |
| I've experienced similar problems in the past and sometimes the
problem might be on your end or even somewhere in the middle
(network wise). If you can't get on after repeated tries, give
the guy responsible for your node a call. There may be something
he can do.
Jerry
P.S. Check if there are other conferences (nodes) that you can't
reach. If there are, chances are the problems are not with firearms.

I really think that there must be another reason: I frequently have this problem even
at 1-2 AM New Hampshire time, and I'm sure that the system isn't swamped with
link attempts at this time!

I have trouble from Boxbourgh, and when I try from home.
If you try the repeated commands you can get in eventually.
