| Actually you don't need to buy a value meal to get a pack. You can buy
a pack for 59 cents with any other purchase. I bought my son a Happy
Meal and 10 packs. No Shaq, but I did get a hologram and Celtics 1-10.
I thought I saw there were 12 Celtics, but I could be mistaken. This
will be a tough set to complete if you try and do all the local teams
also. There seemed to be lots of doubles in the packs I opened such as
two Ellis', two Weatherspoon's, two Laettner's etc.

All last week they said nothing about purchasing them for $.59,the
rules have been changed Saturday,thats when I started to see that you
can buy them fo $.59 cents.I'm going to start a checklist here with the

By us here in southern nh, you can buy up to 10 packs for .59/each
with any purchase. I took one look at some a fellow collector
had bought and wasn't real impressed, think I'll pass, saves on the
grease buildup too.

| In my informal polling across the US, it sounds like there's not a
subset in Miami, Minnesota or Phoenix or Utah. There is in LA (Lakers).
Have feelers out in Atlanta, Charlotte and Seattle...

Nope, not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.
I just think that as with Domino's you'll be able to buy the
the entire 50 card set for a few bucks down the road within a couple
of months. I'm just in no hurry to spend 5.90 for each ten packs
when I know you'll see some show dealers with hundreds of packs
in a month or two. Maybe this won't happen ala Domino's, but the
cards didn't inspire me to spend money now, kinda flimsy, I'm saving
my $5.90's to put towards ultra and UD series II basketball.

| I agree with Jeff on this one although I picked up 10 packs to
check them out and see what I'd get. I did luck out and get an entire
Celtics team set at one shot. If they let you buy 10 packs at a time,
you can be sure they're be a lot of sets out there.

| Bought another 10 packs this morning and guess what, no Shaq,is there
really a Shaq card in this set ? ?
I did get lucky and got 2 Mournings,2 Jordans,and 1 Laettner
I'm willing to buy the Shaq card if someone has an extra,or I'll trade
for it,I've got a S__t load of dups,and extra sets of the C's.......

| A friend of mine just called me from Albany, NY. I thought their
packs would contain one card from the "local" team, the Knicks, but
every pack he opened contained three of the "P" series cards (the
main 50 card set).

Okay,I have now purchased a total of 70 packs some for .59 N.H.,and
good ole TAXACHUSETTS ".62" per pack and still haven't even got a
sniff of a Shaq card. I've been getting some feedback about these
cards,they say that the only cards that are worth saving are all the
[Future Force] cards. Has anyone had any luck on trading Regional Sets?
I don't know what the Shaq card is worth,but if you got one that you
want to sell please let me know,my top bid for the card is $10.00..

I saw the card at shows this past weekend for $15-20... What's it
worth? Who knows.
Went to McD's last night to check out what I had one. I guess they
have 15000 of these babies. The "Complete" set says there' 102 cards
in it...
So what does that mean?

| John, keep going to the McDonalds you've been going to. Looks like
the cards are running in batches. Lots of high numbers to lots of
low numbers to lots of 20's and 30's. Think you'll get everything
you need at one spot.
You should see the kids wheel and deal in McDonalds. If there is
anything you need, get there after school.

| I'm in the queue for the "McDonald's Fantasy Contest Hotline". I'll
try to find out from there. The regional office gave a number to call
in Chicago. (Must be headquarters and to me:
1) explains why Jordan's the main spokesperson
2) explains the 10 card subset last year
3) explains why there's a prize list and a Chicago area prize list and
4) makes me assume there's a Bulls subset at least.)

| I bought 30 packs this past weekend and I'm starting to notice that the
Future Force cards are getting very scarce,I've been talking to some
people who have been buying them and they also agree.

| I picked up a few more packs Friday night and got mostly Future Force
cards including a Shaq. I don't think McDonald's decided to give out
the Future Force cards first. It's probably just a sequencing of the
packs and you hit the low numbers this time around.

A dealer at the BG show saturday had hundreds of these fantasy packs.
However, he wasn't under selling McDonalds, his price was $3/pack.
Yes, these were packs from Florida with the Orlando subset. Claimed
a friend of his had stood in line about 55 times. I wonder if they
are sold out in florida yet.

Team Set insert cards
My wife was visiting her sister in Orlando over the weekend so I asked
her to stop and get me some packs at a local McDs. The first 30 packs
all had one Orlando Magic team card insert. The next 30 packs, the
next day at the same McDs had only 3 of the regular cards, no Orlando
Magic team card insert in any of the second 30 packs, *&!@#$!!
Now she back in Sarasota for the next 2 weeks, she'll see if there are
any Orlando Magic team card inserts in those packs.

$10 seems low to me, unless you live in Orlando where they were
plentiful, till Sunday. Up here, I would think $15 to $20 will be
more common (IMHO). I saw the regular Shaq (#42?) at Hudmars in
Marlboro, Mass. for $10 itself. The 50 card set was $25.
Spoke to my wife yesterday. All the McDs in Orlando went to a limit of
one pack per order, on Sunday. You couldn't buy the normal 10, when
you purchased something from them. They said, there was a real run on
these packs last week and Saturday.

| This dealer that I do buisness with just got back from Florida with
some Mcdonalds cards,He's got them for $4.00 a pack and has no problem
getting ridd of them,hey,if you want them you pay the price.
I have a friend going to Daytona next week and I'm having him pick
me up about 50 packs,I'll let you noters know what happens when
I get them in a couple of weeks.
Unfortunately when he was in Florida he got broken into,this was a real
professional job,the thiefs went up a pole and took out all all power
going into the store,these are real nice decent people that didn't deserve
this kind of stuff,the name of the shop is (Fenway Franks) in Salem
N.H.,I just hope that they get the scumbags that broke into there
store.

| My wife was in Orlando, not last weekend, but the weekend before.
On saturday, McDs were selling the normal 10 packs per order. On
Sunday they went to 1 pack per order at 2 different McDs.
This week, she went to a McDs in Sarasota, bought 10 packs and got all
"P cards" only. There were no OR (Orlando) team cards in any of the
Sarasota packs. Sarasota is about 50 miles from ORlando, so my guess
is, if you are not in Orlando, you probably won't get any Orlando team
cards.

McDonald's employees in Florida who were caught trying to sell cases

going for ? Have any of you noters seen them at shows and what were
they looking for in price for the 50 card set,the Celtics set,the
Jordan Hologram and the Future Force cards.
I think that this nBA Fantasy is winding down,I went to 3 McDonalds
last night and they said that they were all out,and they were all done.
This morning I went to a McDonalds on the way to work and bought 10
more packs,I couldn't believe it,I got another Jordon Hologram.

The sets are selling for around $30.00. You are right most of the
McDonalds have sold out. The packs say that the prizes must be claimed
by April 1st.

guess on the value of them. One place wants $15.00,another place wants
$22.00,and another wants $25.00,I'm wondering if Tuff/Stuuff will have
anything on this 50 card set,I'm still interested in trading a celtics
set for any other set,(any takers out there),don't contact me after

ago).
He picked me up two sets for $5/each.
You might call information out there (or look in SCD) and get the names
of a couple of store in that area.
