well if you ever had any doubts about not being able to collect
all of everything out there, these statues will put that to rest.
From the pictures, it looks like they are well done - realistic,
and in many different characteristic poses. Guess I'll pick up
one or two (well, maybe 3 or 4 or ...).

31.2How about a list here?MAMTS7::DFAUSTI used to be disgusted...Thu Mar 10 1988 13:396

Can a list be posted here of the one's that are available?
Also, where can they be purchased and can it be done by mail?
I live in PA and it's not possible for me to drive to MA to
    	buy anything.

31.5Are these three available???MAMTS7::DFAUSTI used to be disgusted...Thu Mar 10 1988 19:128

I'm just interested in the Philadelphia area sports figures.
Are there any of Mike Schmidt, Charles Barkley, or Julius Erving?
Those are the one's that I have an interest in at this point.
    	Thanks for checking.

I've been collecting these a little at a time, havent seen anything
strange yet- other than the two different shrink packages used.
The first ones (packages) were plain-
The second ones had a Special Offer for a baseball, sent free with
4 proof of purchase stickers from the backs of the package.

Also- If you havent noticed yet, Kenner has released a Hartland-like
set too. They are 'jumbo' Starting Lineup statues 10"high on a beveled
base. They have a fake autograph on top of the base and are supposed
to be in limited numbers (10,000,000 or so probably) oh yeah- each
one is serial numbered. So far I've only seen the Clemens and Boggs
statues. They are $9.95ea at ChildWorld. $3.99 for the small ones.

My mistake- They arent made by Kenner, they just sit next the
Starting Lineup packages on the same shelf. They are made by
the same company that sells those $2.99 'value packs' of cards
that are all commons worth .50c. I opened one and looked at it-
not executed very well. No two seem alike, sloppy details, mold
seems, etc... The bottom of the Boggs I looked at had a sticker
that said 4012/10000 ... Production must be at 10,000 ea.

     Hello,

I was just wondering what a Joe Montana or a Michael Jordan
figurine is worth? I'm pretty sure they are 1990 series with
the two cards in them. I also have a Magic Johnson and others.

I suggest that before you go out and spend an outrageous sum of money
or try to sell these at overly inflated prices, you check a couple of
    places.

    1) Tuff Stuff for reference on the value of these Starting Line-ups
( make sure that you reference the CORRECT YEAR).

    2) Your local Toys R' us, Service Merchandise, or Child World may
carry them for between $4.50 to $7.00. (The MJ's are quite
plentiful in Southern NH for less than $5.00 (FWIW).

I picked up 7 Barry Sanders Figures, and 2 Bo Jackson,(Football)
at Child World, also got lucky and grabbed 2 Micheal Jordan's. If
anyone has a Nolan Ryan,I'd be willing to trade a Sanders for it.
What are these worth, even though I paid $4.99 Ea..

I called a guy in Ohio about trading some Lineups. Seems he is only
after a few select pieces right now. He's the kind of guy that goes to
the store everyday and buys all the good stuff. Anyway, I asked him
about Flutie and he hadn't seen any in a long time. I think it is $26
in the TS guide. I remember seeing an ad way back with Flutie for ~$15
but that was before the past season. I'm sure someone has it but it
could take a few phone calls. Perhaps the Kenner Kid or some other
    dealer has some.

A friend of mine picked up a boxed set of the 1992 USA olympic basketball
team. It is ten figures 5 in white uniforms and 5 in blue uniforms. The
players are: Chris Mullen, Magic Johnson, John Stockton, Scottie Pippen,
David Robinson, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird and
Charles Barkley. He looked in Tuff-Stuff and could not find a listing.
Does anyone have an idea of the value of this set?

     Thanks,

    John,
The original selling price on these were about $70, but have
steadly declined to the point where I have seen them for $35. I do not
remember off hand what Tuff Stuff had for a price, but I think it was
about $40. Hope that helps and I will try to remember to check the
price when I am home this weekend.

I am very interested in the Havilcek figure. Is it still carded? What
year was it produced? More importantly how much are you looking to get
for it? Since it appears that we both work at Augusta it shouldn't
be hard to get together to make a deal.
