Could someone explain how to get remote access to MACSYMA.

MACSYMA (or VAXIMA) must be purchased from outside and licensed for your site. It is not currently available over the E-net. I think the owners of the "franchise" are named elsewhere in this conference, or perhaps in the MAPLE conference. Lynn Yarbrough | |||||

on a machine which has MACSYMA legally installed.

Oh - I see. It used to be installed on a system in the LDP group's cluster but the person who "mother"ed it has moved to a different group, I think. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful. Lynn | |||||
