Hello! I'm no math freak... but I hope you folks can help me. We (sales/swas in DEC Norway) have been asked by the National Statistical Bureau about math applications running on VMS. They are especially interested in Mathematica, but have also mentioned MACSYMA. Can anyone give me some info about available math applications running on VMS, and where we can get them? Thanks!

MAPLE is another system along similar lines to MACSYMA and Mathematica. Mathematica is not available (yet) for VAXes. For more information check out conference MODEL::MAPLE (hit KP7 or SELECT). Topher | |||||

For MACSYMA info, see also notes 117, 364, 195, 427, 592, 602, and 730 in this conference. There are also recent notes on Mathematica and its creator. DIR/TITLE=MAPLE will turn up more info on MAPLE. Lynn Yarbrough |
