Does this meeting involve the Regionalization issue???? If so,
how.

Nothing about regionalization is on tonight's Town Meeting agenda.
There was talk about doing an article to request money for legal work
on regionalization, but the School Committee decided to ask Town
Counsel to do the work instead. The Town Counsel gets a retainer fee
to do a certain amount of work for the town. (Usually, he is asked to
do more work, and is paid out of reserve fund transfers later in the year.)
I believe that there is going to be a public meeting about
regionalization in early November (I forget the exact date proposed).
Also, a couple of the Acton-Boxboro School Committee members
volunteered to come to Maynard, to explain anything people wanted to
know. I don't know if they have been invited.
