411.0. "Beaks & Nails in So. NH????" by SALEM::PETERSON () Fri Sep 07 1990 21:18

    It appears it's time for our Amazon to have its beak and nails done.
    We usually have a vet do our parakeet but the last time we were not
    happy with the way they handled the bird. We live in Manchester NH.
    Can anyone give me some names of vets or other potential places to
    have this done?

    Thanks  -  Dick

    You might try Windsong Aviary on Route 3 (the Daniel Webster Highway)
    in Merrimack. They are on the Nashua end, nearly opposite the entrance
    to the Nashua Corporation plant. They've handled our parakeet and
    cockatiel and we've been happy with their service. I can't remember
    how much its cost, though! - Bill

    I've had Wingsong do our Amazons and would go there over the vets for
    convenience, price (half of the vets - 7.50 wings and 7.50 nails at
    Wingsong-at least a month ago it was that price!!). Usually you can
    just show up, but I always call to make sure Brian is going to be there
    to do the trims.  /Linda
