It obviously sounds like you have some thoughts yourself.
Why don't you kick it off with your own thoughts/opinions??

| I am no stock expert. I just monitor lots of them, I have seen
telecom and related stocks just going on a nice upward movement over
the last 12 months or so. Some of the networking stocks like
Baynetworks have also been moving up nicely. Wish what I know now
a year back.
There is a investors Edge URL, that groups stocks by nature of
business/Industry, i.e. all the TELECOM stocks can be listed
on one page, taking a cursory look at this leads me to believe this
might be a good thing happening.

| Networking stocks are going to keep consolidating and merging with the
mega-size companies such as BNET, CSCO, COMS etc. If you are a long
term player and do not want a wild ride, buy TELLABS, MOTOROLA, USWEST,
CSCO and BNET. Buying one of more from this list is dependent on your
own FILTER (Fundamental and Technical) and the amount of money you want
to invest. Bottom line this gives you a FULL BREADTH of LAN AND WAN
exposure.
